Ropes Course Mini Session: Zilker Park Camp Catwalk & Giant’s Ladder

The Zilker Park Camp’s high ropes course elements include The Catwalk and The Giant’s Ladder. Each participant should have time to try both elements during this mini session. This ropes course is located at 2225 Andrew Zilker Road, in Zilker Park.
The Catwalk: one participant climbs up to a telephone pole suspended about 30 feet off the ground and then attempts to walk across the pole before being lowered down on a belay. See photos below.
The Giant’s Ladder: two participants attempt to climb the giant ladder together. Cooperation, communication, and problem solving as a duo are additional challenges beyond the physical challenge. See photos below.
- This mini session will begin promptly at 5:30p. You must be on time in order to participate.
- This event will take place at our Zilker Park location, the Zilker Lodge.
- All participants must sign a waiver before participating.
- Upon reserving your spot(s), we’ll send you an email with more details about how to donate, a link to the participant waiver, and what to bring to the ropes course.
